We collect the following categories of information when you use ResumeFit AI:

• Account information: Your name and email address, obtained through the authentication provider you choose (Google, Microsoft, or Apple) when you sign in.
• Resume content: The text of your resume that you upload or paste into the service. This content is processed to generate your optimized resume.
• Job descriptions: The job posting text you provide when requesting an optimization. This is used solely to tailor your resume to the specific role.
• Usage data: Basic technical information such as browser type, IP address, and pages visited, collected automatically to operate and improve the service.
• Payment information: Payment transactions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers. We retain only a Stripe customer identifier to manage your account.

We use the information we collect exclusively to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the ResumeFit AI service
• Generate your optimized resume, match score, cover letter, and related outputs
• Manage your account, credits, and subscription
• Respond to support inquiries you send through our contact form
• Send you transactional notifications related to your account (e.g., credit confirmations)

We do not use your resume or job description content to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or for any purpose other than generating your requested output.

ResumeFit AI uses artificial intelligence to analyze your resume and job description and generate optimized content. Your resume and job description text are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Usage Policy.

By using ResumeFit AI, you acknowledge and consent to your resume and job description content being processed by Anthropic's API for the purpose of generating your optimization results. We do not share your data with any other third-party AI providers.

Your account information, optimization history, and generated resumes are stored in a secure, encrypted database. We retain this data for as long as your account is active so you can access your optimization history.

If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and optimization history within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or financial record-keeping).

Resume and job description content submitted for processing is not retained by Anthropic beyond the duration of the API request, in accordance with their data handling policies.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose.

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Anthropic: Resume and job description content is transmitted to Anthropic's API solely to generate your optimization output.
• Stripe: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We share only the minimum information required to complete your transaction.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We use Manus OAuth (a service provided by Meta) to handle authentication. When you sign in, you choose from Google, Microsoft, Apple, or email. We receive only your name and email address from the authentication provider — we never see your password.

The Manus authentication portal is governed by its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioral analytics tools. Basic usage analytics (page views, session counts) may be collected in aggregate, anonymized form to improve the service.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your optimization history

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted database connections, HTTPS-only communication, and secure session management. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.
